Sakib: Hello Tuhin. How are you today?
Tuhin: I am fine, Sakib. But last night was very tough.
Sakib: Why? What happened?
Tuhin: Because of load shedding. The electricity went out for three hours.
Sakib: Oh, that is really a big problem. Could you study at night?
Tuhin: No, I could not. I had to study with a candle, but the light was too dim.
Sakib: Yes, load shedding is a serious problem in our country. It troubles students the most.
Tuhin: Not only students, but also patients in hospitals suffer badly during power cuts.
Sakib: You are right. Factories and shops also lose time and money because of load shedding.
Tuhin: Exactly. It stops our work, increases heat, and even spoils food in fridges.
Sakib: The main reason is the shortage of electricity compared to our demand.

তুহিন: আমি ভালো আছি, সাকিব। তবে গতকাল রাতটা খুব কষ্টে কেটেছে।
সাকিব: কেন? কী হয়েছে?
তুহিন: লোডশেডিংয়ের কারণে। তিন ঘণ্টা বিদ্যুৎ ছিল না।
সাকিব: ওহ, এটা তো বড় সমস্যা। রাতে পড়তে পেরেছিলে?
তুহিন: না, পারিনি। মোমবাতি জ্বালিয়ে পড়তে হয়েছে, কিন্তু আলো ছিল খুবই কম।
সাকিব: হ্যাঁ, লোডশেডিং আমাদের দেশের একটি গুরুতর সমস্যা। এতে শিক্ষার্থীরাই বেশি ভোগে।
তুহিন: শুধু শিক্ষার্থী নয়, হাসপাতালের রোগীরাও বিদ্যুৎ না থাকলে ভোগে।
সাকিব: ঠিক বলেছো। কলকারখানা আর দোকানপাটেও সময় আর টাকা নষ্ট হয়।
তুহিন: একদম তাই। এতে কাজ বন্ধ হয়ে যায়, গরম বেড়ে যায়, আর ফ্রিজে রাখা খাবারও নষ্ট হয়।
সাকিব: মূল কারণ হলো বিদ্যুতের চাহিদার তুলনায় সরবরাহ কম।
তুহিন: হ্যাঁ, আর মানুষও অনেক সময় অকারণে বাতি আর ফ্যান চালিয়ে রাখে।
সাকিব: আমার মনে হয় সরকারকে আরও বিদ্যুৎকেন্দ্র তৈরি করতে হবে আর সৌরশক্তি ব্যবহার বাড়াতে হবে।
তুহিন: ঠিক বলেছো। আমাদেরও সতর্ক হতে হবে আর বাসায় বিদ্যুৎ সাশ্রয় করতে হবে।
সাকিব: আমরা সবাই সচেতন হলে এই সমস্যা অনেকটা কমে যাবে।
তুহিন: হ্যাঁ, সবার ছোট ছোট প্রচেষ্টা একসাথে বড় পরিবর্তন আনতে পারে।
সাকিব: ধন্যবাদ তুহিন, তোমার ভাবনা শোনার জন্য।
